Founder & Chief Operating Officer
(AGS Israel)
Yaniv is one of the founders and the COO of Athlone Global Security
in Israel, an investment company, focusing on the homeland security
(HLS) venture market.
Yaniv is responsible for leading our team in Israel (AGS Israel),
which includes investment activities, monitoring the portfolio
companies, finance, joint ventures, co-investments and business
development initiatives.
Yaniv serves as a Director in a number of Athlone's group companies.
Yaniv brings with him corporate experience in VC funds, investment
transactions in startups, corporate strategy, investment management
and corporate strategy.
Yaniv holds an LL.B in law from the University of Manchester for
the Israeli Centre for Academic Centre

CTOTal Dekel joined AGS in 2007 as the
group's CTO. He is in charge of evaluating and validating new
companies as well as promoting the portfolio companies on the
technological level.
Previously, he has led R&D efforts in the field of electro-optics
in various positions. These positions were part of his service
in the IDF intelligence technological branch and Israeli special
operations units. Tal left the army ranked as major, with 3 years
of experience as a systems engineer as his last position.
He was recruited in 1995 to the IDF's prestigious three-year program
"Talpiyot" that includes academic studies, military
training, R&D studies and an Officers Course.
Tal holds a B.Sc in Physics and Mathematics from the Hebrew University
in Jerusalem, Israel and an M.Sc in Electro-Optical Engineering
from the Tel Aviv University, Israel. His research dealt with
Improvised explosive detection using IR spectroscopy.

VP finance
Mr. Lubinski brings to AGS vast experience
and knowledge in the finance, accounting and taxation areas.
Formerly, Mr. Lubinski served as the CFO of a global software
company and as the controller of a communication company.
In his former duties he was in charge of multinational reporting,
international taxation strategy and played an important role in
the business development, financial performance improvement and
fund raising efforts.
Mr. Lubinski accomplished his interim period in Ernst & Young,
Tel Aviv and he holds a B.A. degree, majored in Accountancy and
Politics and an M.B.A. degree majored in financial management,
both from Tel Aviv University.
Mr. Lubinski is a chartered accounted (ISR) and a member of the
Israeli CPA council since 2001.
Legal Counsel
Aviv has been Athlone’s legal counsel
since inception, commencing on October 2005. Aviv has handled
most of Athlone’s investment transaction and has dealt or
assisted the managements of AGS's portfolio companies in a broad
variety of legal issues.
Aviv brings with him substantial corporate legal experience in
VC funds, investment transactions in early-stage startups, corporate
strategy and M&A transactions.
Prior to joining Athlone, Aviv has practiced law in three small
boutique law firms, serving a broad spectrum of clients from the
hi-tech industry and handling a wide range of legal issue and
transactions.
Aviv holds an LL.B in law. a B.A. in Economics & Business
Management (Marketing) and an LL.M graduate degree in International
Commercial Law (Cum Laude) all from Herzlia’s Inter Disciplinary
Center. Aviv was admitted to the Israeli Bar Association in 2004.
